Morgane the model

I initially met Morgane taking photos for her 21st around 4 years ago, she threw an amazing Superhero themed party (I remember this because I only wished it was my party!). - Who knew that 3 years later we'd randomly met again at a Photography workshop, and from there we'd continue to work on other projects together!

Morgane is a beautiful person inside and out. She lights up whatever room she's in and I wish her nothing but the best in life. I'm so grateful I have had the opportunity to get to know her and even call her a friend.

Below are some images from a shoot we did.

If you'd like to contact Morgane for modelling work, here's her website: http://morganehunt.foliohd.com/ - I can't recommend her enough!

The Real Estate

I am so grateful I have become a part of taking regular photos for a building company this past year.

Seeing these amazing houses at amazing locations really makes me in awe and gives me ideas for my mansion I’m building in a few years time haha I wish! ;) - I had the opportunity to also take corporate photos for them also, so it was nice to have a face to the names I work with for the houses.

Here are some images I have taken for them:

The Graduate

After 5 years of studying part time, I finally graduated from my Advanced Diploma of Photography!

We had a graduation ceremony recently and it was so nice to talk to my fellow students and see how they are and where they’re at in regards to their photography. I’m so proud of everyone and the ceremony showed everyone’s work and it was so amazing to see how great and different everyone’s style is. Although it is sad now that it has come to an end, I am very excited of the new times ahead.

The Spontaneous Trip

A few weeks ago, I decided to go to Japan for a little break before I became really busy with work again! Having a couple weeks off in a row had been rare for me, and I’m so glad I had a chance to unwind, explore and do something exciting and different from what I have been doing.

I suggest to any one that has a busy lifestyle or feels somewhat guilty to take time off from their usual life to try something different! It’s all going to be there for you when you come back, and not taking time off may hurt you more then taking the time off.

First stop, Tokyo.

This is the third time I have been here, so it was nice to not do the usual tourist things. Because of this, I took my time and walked throughout the different suburbs exploring shops, museums and side streets and exploring what was left of the cherry blossoms. I loved it.

Here’s a glimpse of some of the images I took:

Second Stop, Hiroshima.

I’ve never been to Hiroshima and was so interesting to see how different it was to the other cities. I bumped into my friends who were traveling the same time as me there which I loved. During this time, was when the big earth quake hit, even though it wasn’t close to where we were we had a Tsunami/ aftershock scare which was an experience I have never had before.

Third Stop, Kyoto and Nara.

Before heading home, I decided to go back to Kyoto, Himeji and Nara, it was nice to spend more time in these places. I ended up going on a tour and was nice hearing the history of these places.
